Coaches Meeting Schedule for the 2008/2009 JFLL Season!

What can you expect at coaches meetings? Before the season starts, coaches meetings are a place to come to learn about what is JFLL and how do you go about getting it started at your school. As the season begins, the coaches meetings are a great place to come to get matched up with Junior Mentors for your teams. Once the season is well under way, the coaches meetings are a place to talk to experienced coaches, trade stories about what works and what doesn't for your team, learn cool techniques for LEGO building you can bring back to your next team meeting, etc.

Meeting Minutes from Last Meeting on January 8th

We had our biggest turnout yet, including some exciting new joiners!  A number of elements to the current season were discussed.  And the next level program - FIRST LEGO League - for 9 to 14 yr olds was brought up.  Stamford Robotics will definitely be working to get this going in Stamford starting this spring!  Stay tuned for announcements on this via email and on our website.

Did you miss it? Don't worry! We still have two more coaches meetings before the Expo.  At our next meeting I'll bring some LEGO and demonstrate some basic building techniques.  Coaches, you won't want to miss this if you are new to LEGO building.  These are simple, but effective techniques that will help you guide your team to a fun motorized model.
