What can you expect at coaches meetings? Before the season starts, coaches meetings are a place to come to learn about what is JFLL and how do you go about getting it started at your school. As the season begins, the coaches meetings are a great place to come to get matched up with Junior Mentors for your teams. Once the season is well under way, the coaches meetings are a place to talk to experienced coaches, trade stories about what works and what doesn't for your team, learn cool techniques for LEGO building you can bring back to your next team meeting, etc.

Meeting Minutes from November 9th

With some new folks at our last meeting as well as an experienced FLL coach the discussion continued. Questions about how to participate as a volunteer, how to start/run a team, etc. were discussed. We also reviewed the (in progress) lesson plan for the current year. We trying to fill in some gaps and hope to have that posted to the site as a resource for new and returning coaches for the current year.

We'll definitely be having a meeting on November 16th so if you are still on the fence or need more information please do come to next Monday's meeting.

Meeting Minutes from October 28th (kickoff meeting)

We had a decent turnout for our first meeting of the season. We discussed the Smart Moves topic, announced our expected Expo date of February 6th, and discussed options for starting teams in schools, community organizations, etc. Stamford Robotics committed to updating the website with an editable flyer for you to download and edit (done).
