Youth Founder Honored at 2010 "Light a Fire" Awards

Jyotsna Winsor Receives Light a Fire AwardWe are very pleased to announce that Jyotsna Winsor, youth co-founder of Stamford Robotics, was honored with the 2010 "Light a Fire" award for Most Involved Teen by Moffley Media in part for her work with Stamford Robotics.  Jojo was featured in the November/December issue of Stamford Magazine.

Stamford Robotics at Stone Soup!

Stamford Robotics once again joined in at the Stone Soup for the 21st Century event.

We presented in the "fairway" demonstrating FIRST LEGO League for 9 to 14 year olds, and Jr. FIRST LEGO League for 6 to 9 year olds. Kids had a chance to run the SMART team state champion robot, and build LEGO models related to this year's theme.

Coach D. and Dawn Winsor from Stamford Robotics also presented one of the many community learning sessions titled "How to build a successful FIRST LEGO League team".
